The 3 Dues Ex endings were all great. I noticed as soon as i had to choose there was no "right" or "wrong" ending. Only what you as a person thought was best for everyone. Become a sort of living god, plunge humanity back into the old days and rebuild anew and there was another ending i can't quite remember.
Now you know how the other side felt the entire time. Pointless point deductions for the most stupidest reasons. I don't really think that for a small VERY MINOR thing should be a point deduction for either version of either game. More bugs in one version i can agree with the deduction but when it's some small graphical difference it really makes no difference.
Yeah Akuma played the same exact way in Street Fighter 3: 3rd strike. It takes some time getting used to but he has his perks usually. Like having good footspeed and combo's etc. I'm not really too big into "tier" list because they're if "two players were at the same skill level playing at their peak then this person would win over that person this many times". Just too situational. Besides i really think fighting games are mostly skill and not characters being used.
In other words Akuma in SF4 is like the Akuma of SF3. Offensive juggernaut with a great mixup but takes hits like a punk. I'm a Akuma primary user and you get used to his lousy health. I look forward to playing SF4 myself.
I was hoping they saved someone different for the last character. Like someone from SF3. Makoto or Elena would have done nicely. Specially Makoto.
Touche. My EU buddies don't usually complain. Usually.
We always get shafted with the worst boxart. EU and japan gets better boxart than NA.
I do have a Ps3 but i'm no fanboy or whatever you want to say by any means. I call it how i see it. L4D is what a co-op zombie fest right? I seen videos on it and i'm just not interested. It's a miss to me. You know what other games are misses to me? Resistance 2 and Motorstorm 2. I don't really care at all about those games and i actually think Resistance as a whole is a overhyped (standard) fps but with great gun design. Everything else about it is average.
I guess you could ...
Mmmm another good score for Mirrors Edge. I'm getting the same impression from all the reviews i'm reading. There's a few leap of faith moments (such as jumping across buildings onto a pipe). But the overall feel of the game is something fresh and a new take with a interesting visual flair. Seems like everything i was expecting and everything the demo seemed to present.
Because they're in it to make money. Wii prints money.
If you like the game, there's nothing wrong with that though. Everyone have different likes and dislikes etc. You might call me crazy for not liking HL2 (i have a few buddies that are HL2 fans and say that to me all the time) but i just really think that game is overhyped. Bubbles for handling this so well.
I played the game. I beat the game. It's a miss. Not deserving of the hype and praise it gets. Horrible level design, terrible AI, weapons become superfluous after a level or so. Don't get me started on Gordon Freeman as a main character, so lifeless and the narrative or lack there of is laughable. Sorry but the game isn't great in my eyes. Best part of the whole game is the on-rails section of the game all the way at the end before the final confrontation with doctor brain. I honestly don't ...
I'm like you in my gaming tastes but i like fun/quirky titles as well. Resistance 2 wouldn't fall under "deep story" or innovative gameplay. Neither would dead space. But that's just my two cents.
Best thing i can tell you is play the demo for Mirrors Edge. I would call it more like a platformer or action adventure game than a fps. Much like i'd call Portal a Puzzle/platformer and not a FPS.
Valve is very hit and miss with me. Portal and TF2 are hits but L4D and HL2 are two misses. Big misses.
Anywho i'm pretty sure L4D will get ported by EA sometime in the next 3 months.
I'm not going to get Mirrors Edge this week but the week after next. LBP comes this week.
85 for B+. A- is a 90 etc.
They're concept drawings. It's just to give you a rough idea of how the environments will look and how they're planning the overall look of the game.
@Nitrowolf: Nope there was never a movie for Dues Ex.
I tried reading the review but i just don't really get what they are saying. They talk about how sterile the game looks and the button layout is alright. But i don't know as for the rest of the review i just don't know what they're exactly getting at.
I know i'll definitely be getting this on Blu-Ray. It'll be my first movie as well and i absolutely loved the movie when i went to go see it this summer.
Thing is, all of this is subjective silentshank. How fun is CoD's multiplayer is defined by the person who plays it. Someone could find little to like about the fast paced twitch shooter environment that CoD is. Someone might like something a little more slowed down, less erratic and more tranquil in nature. Gagging how much entertainment someone gets from a game or any entertainment media is hard to exactly peg.
There's more to replay value than just a online component. Weather...
